This full day tour travels through the high country south of Cairns where the sun will crest the mountains as we stop for a short break. As we leave, the vegetation turns to rainforest and open farmland on our way to an ancient volcano lake with crystal clear water. There we enjoy a Devonshire morning tea.
$145 - $210
Next stop is Milla Milla Falls, the first of three waterfalls for the day, followed by Ellinjaa Falls and Mena Creek Falls.
You will have around two hours to explore Paronella Park at your leisure, or you can join a guided tour presented by the park staff. We leave Paronella Park and head down to the coast where we will have lunch of fish and chips or burgers at a beachside café where two cassowaries are often seen strolling along the waters edge.
Sadly the day is running out so we make our way back to Cairns. Just enough time for a stop over at Babinda Boulders. Wander along the 700mt Devils Pool walking track or simply sit on the grassed area and enjoy a complimentary glass of local wine whilst taking in the beauty of this World Heritage area.
Mena Creek Falls is truly an amazing place. Built above the river’s edge a treasure of days long gone, Paronella Park. A mansion amongst the rainforest, built in the 1930s by a wealthy Spanish sugar farmer.. Voted Queensland's No.1 definite must see tourist attraction, everyone who visits this place is awestruck by the vision and dedication of this man who built a castle for his family.
